Join Our Team as a Head Concierge!
We are seeking a dependable and professional Head Concierge to our team. In this dynamic role, you will provide exceptional customer service, respond to client needs, and ensure smooth daily operations.
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Resident Relations: Answer the phone in a professional and warm disposition and be prepared to help owners/residents with their questions and requests.
- Security of residents and the building premises: Monitor access by residents and visitors of the building.
- Cleanliness and upkeep of the building premises: Be prepared to clean spills if necessary in the areas such as the elevators, lobby and main entrance when the cleaning staff is not on site.
- Fire alarms: If a fire alarm occurs, verify if the alarm is false and, if so, notify residents accordingly through the PA system and advise the Management company. If the fire alarm is valid, liaise with the Management company and the Fire Department personnel accordingly to procedures and assist residents in leaving and re-entering the buildings
- Move in/move out procedures and supervision: Complete all booking documents respecting a move in or out as defined in the Bylaws and Rules, record any applicable payments made and forward it to the management agency’s office.
- Mail, parcels, packages and access: Receive resident’s packages, courier mail, etc. at the residents’ request by resident signing (Authorization Waiver Form)
- Record keeping and Administration: Maintain updated records of all residents including all suite occupants, fob numbers, suite phone numbers, parking stall numbers, locker numbers. etc.
- Access and device protocol: Residents must sign the required liability waiver form and register their unit key(s) when depositing the key(s) with the concierge or any other employee or Strata Property Agent.
Requirements:
- Flexibility, availability, and the ability to address requests promptly.
- Proven experience in hospitality, customer service, or related fields.
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, scheduling software, etc.).
Job Type: Full time, Monday - Friday
Starting date: ASAP
Shift Timings: 8AM - 4PM
Salary: $24 per hour
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Concierge/caretaker/building manager: 1 year (preferred)
